No, that is accurate. What that effectively means is the new "cleric stance" is just a buff that increases damage a little more than your normal value.. a damage cooldown much akin to the likes of say raging strikes from archer or blood for blood from lancers (minus the drawbacks of b4b)
You do not need the new cleric stance to do good healer damage at all. It's completely optional.

I think you are playing the wrong game.if that's the kind of attitude you throwing at the game.
I believe the removal was more a choice given the mechanic would often not turn off at times. Stance dance was amusing, but when CS would stay up when you told it to turn off and you end up wiping... I suppose people got tired of hearing healers go "oh $#@ cleric stance is still up".
I think SE is better off not doing anymore press releases for future expansions at this point
The current Cleric Stance is a 10% buff for as long as I want it, with my damage calculated based on my (usual) MND stat because it's been swapped with INT.No, that is accurate. The new Cleric Stance is a 5% buff for 15 seconds with a 90 second cool-down, and damage calculated based on MND because... ?
Both of these are "optional", but there's no way I can match the damage of the first with the second.
I mean yall can stop trying to convince her.
she's quitting.
Literally, nothing else said here will affect her anymore.
Then just keep attacking? Big whoop you got a little nerf to your damage but don't need to worry about Cleric not turning off when you need to heal. Tank damage is ALSO going down since its going back to STR instead of VIT, all this means is that DDs need to do their job while Healer damage is still nice to have while also being easier for newbie healers to get into.
But if this is what gets you to quit? Well, I hope you enjoy whatever else you play! Enjoy life!
Not very good healers, perhaps. I mean if that's the reason, why require any skill at all? Let's just make everything die when we walk into the zone.I believe the removal was more a choice given the mechanic would often not turn off at times.
