Cleric Stance removed??

You really shouldn't talk like you represent the majority of the healers or know what most of them want.

I never claimed to represent anyone other than myself, although as I said - I have definitely seen discussions where players who like WHM have been discussing other jobs and have said they've wished they could use Cleric Stance on those jobs.

The only person I represent is me, but I am perfectly within my rights to do that and to talk about it here. If you don't like it, you don't have to read it.

Permanent cleric is way better than having to constantly toggle it off and on for 10% more damage.

That's not the change they appear to have made, but if it is then I agree to an extent (although I still think removing the game dynamic is a shame).

To clarify. "Permanent Cleric" as it's being called is the change being made to the way healer damage is calculated. We now scale with MND instead of INT nullifying the need to have a stance that swaps our values.

Scaling healer dps off MND was the right choice. THe skill is basically ranging strikes now, and you can take it if you want to do more dps than the healers who don't give a fuck.

How much DPS is that going to be with a 90 second cool down between bursts? There's no way I'm healing for 90 seconds at a time at the moment. It's going to ax my DPS.

Is Cleric Stance fun and usually (when you learn how to not get stuck in it) fun mechanic? Heck yeah!
Is it a good thing that it's gone, because it means that more healers will dps because there's nothing to be afraid of in doing so? Also heck yeah.

I'm going to miss CS, but I'm happy with the change. You can't please both sides; at least this way the dpsing healers definitely win and the non-dpsers don't have any excuses to pull now.

Do DPS-ing healers actually win? Right now I'm not sure they do.
