The fact you lose your stacks whenever you use your various skills it affects (Unsure why Asylum uses it. Was the skill that required?) makes it less than useful if you need the boosts now, since you want the cooldown effects early over later, plus Divine Benison is locked behind the Lilies, so you either get to shield someone, or keep the boosts to recharge, and if you use the Lilies anywhere else, you lose your shields.

There's really no reason to actively AVOID using skills we freely use anyway in order to gain a completely garbage shield. Maybe if it was like 100% of the target's max HP, AND had some kind of reflect property. AND haste. But it doesn't. Just try running a few dungeons as WHM but take Stoneskin/Stoneskin II off your bars, along with your choice of one of either Esuna/Protect/Swiftcast/Divine Seal/Shroud of Saints.
