Red Mage looks Incomplete

Well that's news to me, no dps class should be able to heal 6k non crits.

Is it using White mana or normal Mp ? if it's using white mana then that is the trade off, dps for a bit of healing.

You are trading something for that 6k non crit, either dps, or a bunch of mp limiting you from doing something else.

To be fair, you can chain two Vercures back to back, for about 12k healed HP. Which is about half the HP we see in that gif. We don't get defensive cooldowns so I guess if we start to take damage (or if we know it's incoming) we can mitigate the damage that way.
It's just useful enough to not overshadow an healer, if you ask me.
