I would call it a day but after he started with lies and calumny im pissed as well. I like discussions and openminded ted talks but not the way he goes for it. arrogant, complacent, condescendingly - without any substance. he looks down on smns (yeah not just me) who gathered experience over years. he takes things for granted, which are obviously not true at all. I said it before - its not about smns or the game itself - its about his poor character. its always the same with him starting big shouts, followed by insults leaving the conversation because "everything is said" (aka running out of arguments/points/claims) - I can't stand people like this neither in RL nor in an online community. and it's not just me...

All I can recommend is do research outside of the forums. Most people here don't know as much as they try to make it seem lol.

I really wouldn't try arguing with this Silverquick individual. If you have different opinions from them, they'll just tell you you're "way out of touch with reality" and "probably don't even play this game."

Just three sentences about it: Who are you to decide which build fits his needs better? Forcing your opinion on someone who doesn't want to hear it is really weak and childish. If he is supporting an uncommon way of playing a class, just state it ('ofc you can do it like that, i just want to say it is uncommon and does not fit the meta perfectly') so following people will see.

I never said that anything fits him better nor im forcing anyone to do it like I do - I just said his idea is not better than the common ones. not more not less o.o

although I like exotic builds please don't spread that piety is the stat to go for caster (smn).

take whatever you want o.o just be aware that your build is highly ineffective compared to others... I have no probs with fun-builds like everybody should know meanwhile.

I wouldn't play ss or parry builds myself if I would believe "the meta" is the only way to go. and the whole discussion escalated after he said, that his way (piety) is the only modern BiS build which outdamage everyone else - but yet thats not the point after all - its his tone.
