Why do I have to tell you in every one of these threads that nobody is expecting immense numbers from healers? People want the effort, even if that just means a few Aero's. You insist on fighting an argument that nobody's made and I generally find it confusing why you're trying to stir that pot when there are so many different facets to the argument for you to choose from.

I had a friend recently come back and go into Creator for her first time. She barely did more than a couple DoTs and Combust, but you know what? That's fine. She tried. And on her first time too. I'm working with another friend who's trying to get into the hang of DPSing more however she is still quite nervous and relieved to see stance dancing go. Neither has played the game in over a year yet they are still putting forward an effort. That is all anyone can ask for casual content, and all anyone should ask.

Well, if you happen to remember any of those threads, feel free to link them to me. But from all that I recall, it has never been about healers maximizing dps, but rather attempting to be active 100% of the fight in the same way tanks and DPS are expected to. Unless of course we consider just being active an amazing feat, and if so.... that is pretty sad.

I don't even remember the titles where I've seen the replies of such. But if one does cross my mind or I accidentally stumble upon it i'll be sure to post it lol

Funny you bring those up, a lot of the naysayers to official parsers are Healers in those threads.
And people really need to stop using the word "Bully" to talk about pro-dps'ers. It's like calling all rightwingers Nazi's. It's silly.

There are reasons. The most common i've seen is just not being comfortable. At least that is how I was before I started dpsing as a healer. But I see you're already generalizing. \

As to the other person, I've read plenty since the start of this whole pointless debate and as I've stated, I've seen quite a few with such thoughts lol

Did you bother to read my entire post or just stop at the first sentence? Cleric stance is one thing, a moot point come 4.0. I'm talking to the people, yes there are a few, who simple don't want to cast dps spells simply because they are healers and don't want to be bothered with anything else.
