Well, the only thinng I kick people for is AFK and offline. If the rest of the community want to be assholes that's on them. I'll leave it at that.If we're going to technical, a Black Mage spamming Blizzard or a Dragoon single targeting mobs in large pulls are still performing the role they signed up for. After all, they are dealing damage. It may be severely gimped damage, but it's damage nonetheless. Keep in mind, the devs allot us 90 minutes for a dungeon run. So long as it's completed within that timeframe, it's technically successful.

Kicking a healer who refuses to DPS (mandatory disclaimer: after being politely asked to do so and without them giving any reason for it other than "nah don't wanna") is like kicking any other party member who refuses to be a team player: a BRD who considers singing isn't part of their job, a SMN who refuses to raise a dead healer because "they're a DPS" and so on. You may consider kicking these people as "being an a**hole", I consider being one of those people as being one (again, refusing to support your team when you could easily do so and you don't have any other reason for it other than you just don't want to bother).
I view it as abuse of the vote kick feature. If it passes clearly enough people agreed with the request.Kicking a healer who refuses to DPS (mandatory disclaimer: after being politely asked to do so and without them giving any reason for it other than "nah don't wanna") is like kicking any other party member who refuses to be a team player: a BRD who considers singing isn't part of their job, a SMN who refuses to raise a dead healer because "they're a DPS" and so on.
