Yeah, I think in game marriage would be nifty.
However, I think they should include same sex marriage this time around. ^^

I'd like to see marriage in-game. Preferably without gender or race restrictions (honestly, I can't imagine that people would even consider banning certain coupled based on those things in this day and age), but I would rather have it those kinds of restrictions than not have it at all. I've played a few other games that implemented this sort of thing and it was always fun.
After 2.0 is released and its had time to be sorted out, then I wouldn't mind this thing being added. It was an interesting thing to see in FFXI, although SE made the process needlessly difficult.

Attending my IRL best friend's in-game wedding was quite possibly my favourite memory of XI - and it would be awesome to see it again in XIV.

This is just one more feature to bring depth to the game, bring it on SE. And let their be Giant craftable wedding cakes![]()
Equal rights or no weddings at all please.

I'm gonna need to sift through the thread to see how many people approved and how many didn't. It'll take me a bit since I have other things to do today. :P
Get back in-game, and leave the horribly out-dated and meaningless rituals for real-life.
If anything, add a couple/buddy system. Some games do it and I like it. They get some perks like being able to summon/teleport on a 3h cooldown directly to your friend. 5% more exp while partying, stuff that doesn't really affect balance or fairness too much but is nice perks to have when you party with someone all the time.

We were the first to kill Ifrit.

I would like that.
And should be cool if there are more than one option of weeding clothes, it should make the experience even more cool.
