You said remove. I said disable. Big difference there as Healers need their DPS spells for solo content. In groups their expected role as per the game is to heal.

As for what healers could do other than DPS, Square would have to add a number of options there. Buffing, Mana Conversation/Restoration skills, etc... The time could be filled in, in a number of ways. The issue remains there are healers who genuinely like DPS'ing and contributing to their group in that tangible way. Like I said in the part of my quote you decided to cut out.

I can't think of a more effective way to really rile the current healer playerbase up.
