Exactly what facts have I stated that are not correct?Forums= 5% of the current playerbase ( roughly)
Forums= 3% of them say discount price
Forums= 2% of them say Full price
Game= 95% left unheard
Once you have the other 95% answers then you have a backbone to support your ground
Has nothing to do with right or wrong, Its has to do with getting your facts first before shouting a claim

A) This is not Beta, This is Version 1.0, Version 2.0 is and upgrade to the 1.0.
B) You don't know who's all staying and who's all going so you can't make that assumption. ( what demand? I only see the 3% of the forums *in which they are the ones demanding for a discount* only complaining about it) You don't have enough facts to prove " A Elasticity of demand" is even called for. Gut instinct= Personal Opinion not actual Fact. SE makes that dice roll. So I suggest you leave it as such or else this back and for nonsense will just keep on Occurring.
Point is, this thread is just going back and forth beating this dead horse to the ground till it's part of the dang soil. 61 pages of:
Person A~ We need a Discount

I said that I think 1.0 essentially a beta, based on how it is just a placeholder until 2.0 is released. This is an opinion.
This is called opinionated analysis based on available information. I provide all the basis for my opinion in the OP. I have never claimed to have the intimate knowledge of every single player in this game. If the barrier to discussion was knowing what 100% of the player base wants for 100% certainty, we wouldn't be able to talk about anything.A) This is not Beta, This is Version 1.0, Version 2.0 is and upgrade to the 1.0.

This is why I made the thread. To put out the idea, and lay out my opinion based on their response to this issue in the BG interview. Nowhere did I state anything that "proved" the elasticity of demand for this game. I merely gave my analysis based on what I know about economics, sales, and the history of this game.
I called it gut instinct because it was gut instinct, and not hard stats. You are the one claiming that I did something that I clearly did not do at all.
Of course the final decision is SE's to make. They also value player opinion. I'm a player. I have an opinion. This is a forum designed to facilitate such things.
If you really don't want to carry on the discussion, then don't. You've posted "I'm done with this thread" more times than I can remember. All I'm doing is correcting the inaccuracies of what you think that I'm trying to do.

The this thread meets no purpose other than the few bits of Forumgoers (200-300 people) that talk about it.I said that I think 1.0 essentially a beta, based on how it is just a placeholder until 2.0 is released. This is an opinion.

I found out all that I needed it know. and I know that this thread in particular has no evidence.
Yet people care enough about this issue to keep posting in it. This is a forum. Forums facilitate discussion of pertinent issues. This is a pertinent issue that some people feel strongly about and could possibly have an impact on the future success of 2.0.
I've laid out the reasons for my opinion clearly, and in an organized manner in the OP. If you think the underlying reasons for my analysis is wrong, then that's fine. However, don't go claiming I didn't provide any good reasons for coming to the conclusion that I came to.

Really ? i'm pretty sure the vast majority of people around here, have been throwing the "This is a beta, or is essentially a beta" every time somebody said something negative about the game for the past year+, now suddendly it is not a beta.....A) This is not Beta, This is Version 1.0, Version 2.0 is and upgrade to the 1.0.
