Should i stop taking crap from people and just start reporting?

1. Does not matter, the person being on the receiving end has a responsibility not to be toxic. Even if the OP said it in that way, the person that the OP should still get reported. 2 wrongs don't make a right, even if 3 lefts do.

2. So people can get an understanding to treat people better in the future? what a concept! Also fulfilling a curiosity why they did not do so. Is it really that hard to understand some people just like to know things for the sake of knowing?

1) If OP was the one starting the fight with what s/he first said, then there's a high chance that the GM won't do anything. Worse, it can even turn against the one filling the report. It wouldn't be the first time of it happening.
It all depends on what OP said first. But it seems that we won't get any screenshot anytime soon.

2) Here's what OP said about what s/he thinks a confrontation is for:

Confontation is not just an offensive or bad thing, its also a way people can work things out or solve a situation.

So, not only OP already acknowledges that confronting is an "offensive and bad thing", but for him/her it's also a way to solve a situation. Except, as I already said, there's no situation to solve. In short, confronting someone in that context can only achieve one of two things: do absolutly nothing, or start a fight.
If you still want to do it for the sake of satisying your own curiosity, while knowing it will have absolutly no positive impact on your situation, then be my guest. But don't come complaining afterwards because someone said bad words.
