Should i stop taking crap from people and just start reporting?

No one simply camps a fate for 2 hours for it to spawn when they could be checking the others on the other maps frequently.

People do camp the FATE's I have numerous times and seen others camping 2+hours. Also as far as I know there is a limit on how many FATES can be up at a time. So the best way is to stay in the area doing the FATE's close to the one you want.

End of the day they stayed in the area and either stood there for 2 hours or contributed to helping it spawn. So although I would wait I wouldn't expect others to do the same.

My son keeps reminding me that a large lot of the players are probably something like 7 years old or old labourers unemployed, so I should not take it to heart if people are rude. For some people this game is LIFE ITSELF. They have nothing else. So they are rude because you are complaining about all they have got, they have nothing else. Feel sorry for them.

Not to be that guy, but the game has a profanity filter. if offensive words offend you, use it. And dont provoke people.

That's not how that works.

Profanity, vulgarity, and even some taboo subjects don't bother me (I'm sure there's speech that goes on in my TS channel that would make you cringe). If they come from a person that I either know, or trust to use it in a joking manner. When people start throwing those words around in an abusive manner as a means to insult, disparage, or show prejudice, then its time for them to face consequences.

Profanity filter is there for one to block them out entirely. GMs are there to pick up the slack when someone harasses another.

Now, I'm not going to judge if what you said is rude or not; quite frankly I don't care about your statement (as you are trying to direct it at most on this thread, and beyond), but I would go out on a limb and say that others may find your statement rude. Also, i'm going to take another guess here, but the guy may have called him that because.. quite frankly I have not seen someone cry over a fate in a loooong time. I don't know his (the one who called him the "naughty naughty" word apparently) thought process. Also, you are only seeing one side of the story here. Who knows if the OP said stuff back to them?

He should of stayed in the one area for the particular fate he wanted to ensure he got it. I completed the 2.0 relic, I can tell you I was never jumping between maps. I rather have a 100% certain than a 50/50 shot.

Also there is the profanity filter if he does not have the backbone to handle profanity. Also I'll say it now to save myself from writing this later, don't confuse profanity with harassment.

It never happen. Actions against a player account are that player's privacy and will not be disclosed. Heards of "bad gm" are, by consequence, just an urban legend or, as you can say, just the tales from one side of the coin. The side that got rekt, ofc.

Nobody is perfect (gm may get wrong decisions too) but anything happens between player and gm is private. Whoever have issues with a gm may escalate to higher level, but him "asking justice" in forums I don't think is a good idea.

I'd be interested to read the whole conversation, both sides. I remember some months ago there was a person here on the forum complaining of the cold shoulder they'd got, and referring to what had been said to them in quotative manner. Turns out the other side of the confrontation read this forum too and had an actual screenshot of the case which painted quite a different picture, showing the complainer was as much, if not more to blame.

As for the swearing, there is no exact word list to say what is harasment and what not. Even if someone is on the high horse of not swearing they may still be quite as mean spirited, if not more so, with their commentary. And when the other side gets frustrated at that it's easy to point fingers.

Not saying either of them is necessarily going there, but I'm not going to pat the OPs back before I've seen the both sides of the conversation.

Nope, if I shouted to ask to hold a fate, and no one does, I get there and see the person I will ask. I done it before and some of the answers I got was "sorry did not see chat" or "I tried holding but so and so did not" and I moved on. A reasonable person does not spew toxic filth over a question, and I kicked people out of DFs before because of it.

Last time I seen that was, doing MSQ with a friend like a week ago, friend was trying to help someone new, explaining weapon effect on healing potency and so on, and some random outsider of the convo bard went off on my friend saying people should not tell people want to do or something, kick passed.
