Paladin's attack in stormblood trailer

I personally feel its 99.99% possible a holy for paladin.

Paladin had holy in Final Fantasy XI...

Nothing can ever be "confirmed" until its official, but just take a look.

(I would be very pleased if it does not consume all MP, and is in fact area of attack)

PLD for sure casts a spell in the trailer, and here is the animation comparison to Holy for White Mage.

I have no clue, but we will find out soon enough.

The for sure part, it has the same exact animation (just smaller) as holy.


Edit: Possible "anti-interruption" animation? that would be ideal.

Looks like Holiest of Holy (used by the Sword and Shield Knights) from Vault and Thordian.

Its easy to miss but the Whitemage uses something right before the Paladin's cast completes.

It looks sort of like Beatrix's Shock from FF IX and she was a paladin

as i already said in the other topic, i think the holy comes from the whm skill buff (kinda like radiant shield) and the pld animation is actually that sign at the end of the cast animation

ohhh!!! you mean like whm marks pld than holies and mimics the holy on pld at a smaller scale? (and this hopefully puts said enmity to pld/tank)? That would be pretty awesome =D

We know SE said Paladin WILL get some kind of aoe and magic defensive cds.

WE ALSO OBSERVER CLEARLY (and maybe a few times vaguely) party pairing abilities!!! we saw it clearly with the pet channeling some tether with the dps; we saw drk cast a skill on sam and we THINK we saw whm doing something to pld.....maybe that's a new theme in the new battle system, some type of combo between teammates ??
