I did coil one to five but stopped once I realized the player based had moved on. I have a certain way I do usync must clear sync to do usync so I'm sorry I don't want to do content that will be an uphill battle trying to do when Alex is going usync soon and I've only cleard 9s. Maybe in the future , I've had offers to do coil 9 refused because it was usync only.

Its kinda cute how much of a special snowflake you think you are - how many people are on your data center? A couple thousand? But you are the only person who'd like to do coil sychned...

I dont want to be rude, but I cant help myself to repeat: You are only limiting and hurting yourself with this attitude. You're waiting for your prince in shining armor on his white horse to come and rescue you, while you could pick up the sword yourself and slay that dragon infront of the door.
Having certain ways of doing things is totally fine, dont get me wrong - but if those ways differ to much from the "optimal way", then you have to be fine with it taking longer or not happening at all. I missed out on a lot of Zurvan farm parties because I didnt felt comfortable to do them as bard, I'm way to used to paladin. So my way of doing those fights is to do them as tank and if non is in demand I dont feel cheated or come to anyone to whine about how no one wants tanks anymore, because I know the person whos limiting my options right now is no one but myself.

Its you who stopped because you didnt felt it was worth it for you - thats okay, no one has to do any content in this game if they decided that they dont enjoy it or that its not worth it for them. But they have to accept that they discard the entire content at this moment and they're not entitled to cherrypick, only take what they want and leave.

Let it be noted that this is a self imposed restriction. Neither SE nor the playerbase has to facilitate this. I commend your wanting to do it properly before doing it unsynced though. . .

. . .And then I read this contradiction, and I'm left confused. You want to do it properly (synced), but you don't want to do content that will be an uphill battle? At level 50 Coil was THE hill. And even with all the nerfs, it's still a challenge at 50. The same group I cleared A12S with tried to run Turn 9 synced after that, and we struggled quite a bit. We didn't even clear as it got late and we just stopped. So please understand synced = uphill battle. Unsynced = still a challenge, but with odds in your favor, IF you know what you're doing.

It basically boils down to a missconception and false expectations of what "unsyched" means, yes - I know, I dont have to tell you that, though...

But during this thread it has become more and more clear that some people are drawing wrong conclusions from the data they've collected (=their personal experience). They've seen EX-primals being faceroll easy when done unsyched and concluded "unsyched=100% kill", now that they are faced with content where thats not the case they dont revisit their own thesis to match the data they've obtained but insist that the content is broken since it doesnt match their expectations anymore.

The same logic could be used to say that Brayflox Longstop isnt a dungeon and shouldnt be in duty finder because of it since every other dungeon took place in some dark-ish, inside area and therefore we must conclude that dungeons are required to be dark, nasty places. This would even work a bit better if we're only considering the first three dungeons, which are all caves - so after someone has done those three, they could conclude that dungeon=cave (and they could even back it up with "evidence" from other games, may it be FF or not, since it often does apply). Halatali still fits this pattern, but as soon as they reach Haukke Manor, it doesnt apply anymore, so we would have to revisit our definition of "dungeon". Latest with Brayflox since that isnt even a dark, nasty place anymore but instead a flowery outside swamp (one of my favorite dungeons btw!).
Pretty much the same with unsyched - you might be able to burn through one, two, three bosses... but that does not equal that you can burn through all of them. So its time to revisit your data and thesis and modify it to fit realtiy - reality doesnt has to fit your thesis, its the other way round.
