EVERYONE OF THE DPS/WHM (except one BRD/tanks) KEPT GETTING HIT BY THE TORNADOS. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE OF THEM. BRDS were flying around jesus christ.

LMFAO this killed me :'D

Anyway, here's my story:

Ran Wiping City last night and literally everyone and their mothers got hit/died to dodge-able AOEs and I'm just like why ಠ_ಠ We cleared but damn, that sure was a stressful run.

They acknowledged they had no job crystal during the dungeon and when I checked what server they were from the Marauder was from Tonberry
What a surprise. He wasn't even the new player either.

...I'm really glad I moved away from that server. It's Aether 2.0

Just got out of possibly the longest, most painfulest (I know, that's not a word, but it is now!) Dun Scaith ever.

Deathgaze Hollow: Everyone dies but me (AST) and the tank. 7/8 squares filled. Was OOM.

Void Crystal trash: not too many problems here, other than people getting petrified right and left. :/

Ferdiad Hollow: Our tank steps up to MT. In this fight, everyone dies except for me and him. Again. Was OOM. AND WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO DO THE DEHABILITATOR PUDDLES: FIRE RESISTANCE DOWN MEANS CHANGE THEM TO WATER. WATER RESISTANCE DOWN MEANS CHANGE THEM TO FIRE.

Proto Ultima: Not everyone died, but the ones that did already had about 10 deaths under their belts already. I think it helped that I saved a Bole and spread it to everyone after he jumps up and we have all the AOE explosion thingies and crap. And I used Lightspeed to throw shields on people. Oh. Was OOM.

Scathach: Oh, Scathach. I did a bad, and pulled her because I had drawn and shuffled a Balance, and was already holding one ready to expand it. We stood there for more than a minute, and when my Balance had 2 seconds left, I tossed it on everyone, and then pulled her. I'm sorry. I've dealt with too much crap; I'm not going to lose a Balance on top of said crap. Our tank ended up dc-ing around the time the second add dropped down. Well, 5/8 of our party was already dead, so the other healer (WHM) used healer LB3 while I kept shielding our tank just to keep him up so Scathach didn't run and stab someone else. WHM gets killed by the add (damn LB3 animation lock). I'm waiting for Swiftcast, because our tank still hasn't disappeared, but the hands appear, and I get tethered to one. I kill mine with the help of a DPS from another alliance, but the other one is ignored, and now only me and the tank are up. Tank finally dc's, I Swift-Raise the other healer. They raise a couple DPS (because I had about 800 mana, and LA was on cooldown...did manage to draw a Ewer, and I already had an Extended Royal Road so I was super lucky there....). Anyways, fight finally ends, with me, our tank, the other healer, and two DPS alive with Brink of Death.

Diabolos: This fight actually went pretty smooth, compared to the rest of the raid. This one NIN kept dying (I swear, I wish I'd had my "crystal ball" to see just how many times he died... he would have made any DRG proud). Anyways, Diabolos wanders off and the door appears, so we're all DPSing it. I have LA ready to use when I'm half mana, and a Balance ready to spread to everyone when Diabolos Hollow shows up.

And then....my power goes out.

I'm cussing up a storm here, trying desperately to reconnect. Eventually, I just plug my phone into the computer and use its hotspot. When I come back, I apologize profusely to everyone about disconnecting, and proceed to do my thing (healing everyone). Our tank must have switched with another tank when I dc'd, so he wasn't MT. Anyways... there was so much death. So much. By the time it ended, I think I had about 2,000 mana left. I have never raised people so many times....

We had a BRD, and a MCH. Did either ever give me or the other healer MP? NOPE. NOT EVEN ONCE. IF I HADN'T BEEN SO BUSY KEEPING EVERYONE ALIVE, I WOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING. SITUATIONAL AWARENESS. YOU SEE YOUR HEALERS AT LIKE 1,000 MP EACH?! SING US A DAMN SONG!! OR GIVE US A DAMN BISHOP TURRET!! They both constantly had Weakness or Brink of Death, so it's not like the damage reduction would have hurt them any more than they were already hurting...

After all of that choas. After all of that DEATH. After all of those RAISES. 2 comms.

tl;dr - Tank and I carried our alliance through Dun Scaith. Just about everyone died about 10 times a piece except us. They would have made any DRG proud. I was constantly out of mana from raising people--I barely got to DPS. BRD and MCH refused to help me or my co-healer out by giving us MP song/turret. After all of that, I walk away with a sore back and just 2 commendations, and I am probably the saltest person on Hydaelyn right now.

There are two people that I want to give shout outs to from my alliance: our tank, who was awesome, and one of the BLMs, who was the only one who told me that it was okay when I disconnected, while others just said RIP LB in chat. So thank you. Both of you. I gave my comm to the tank, but if I could have comm'd the Lalafell BLM too, I would have.

Ive had runs like that before where I had to keep ressing lots of people, where we wiped 3 times at Ultima (yes, really), where I had to pretty much solo heal cos sh*t co-heal and also had to use Heal LB3 twice. All the while, throwing out many, many balances and feeding people MP and TP....

At least you got 1 comm. I got none. The salt was real.

Some people intentionally play as a Class and... as sad as it is to say, they occasionally out perform those with a Job Crystal.

Christ. Now I feel lucky. ._. I think I've wiped on Proto once before. And that was only because we didn't have a full alliance, so no LB3 for us, and one of the other alliances were all dead so no one to use theirs. And I've actually never had a group not (eventually) clear the raid. Sure a lot of people leave, but I've never been in one where a Vote Abandon went through. Though usually the ones that left were the problematic ones anyways, so good riddance.

One of the DPS in my run told the NIN (who probably died close to 25 times--actually probably more--the entire raid...they consistently had Brink of Death status) that he should play DRG, and I was just like "You've died almost as much as he has so maybe you should too..." to myself. Smh.

I really should have known better. This always happens when I enter the Duty Finder at weird hours my time. Lol

Surprisingly, none of the people in that run were new. None.
My character is not big enough for these kinds of carries. :c

I guess I can at least say the run pushed me into my ninth rune on my AST relic. But still. T^T

Some friends and I did a LotA run once, with our tanks gladiator/marauder and the DRG decided to go lancer (we'd queued in as a full party). The sad thing is... the gladiator was MT the entire run. Because the other tanks couldn't pull hate from them unless they provoked. Then our GLA just took it back lol.

It was a fun run, but it was kind of depressing to see three classes out-do those with soul stones.

Oh wow. I didn't even know that was a DPS check, I thought it was just a cool "show off" type of moment.
