Garo is still on after stormblood as it was said. So, with inventory expension u should storage all. Well, they should put them like all event item for we get enought space for stormblood items. About ponies, they put them as pvp achievment. A lot of people like me suffered on pvp farming to get all 3. If they put them on GS a day, i dont think everyone will be happy. Its a long pvp event (6 months and maybe more if i remember well) for everyone can get at least 1 one of 3 pony without farm pvp . Well , its already nice to give garo stuff in GS. Normaly was for pvp only
So I'm a little late to this, but has anyone found the MGP Garo Vendor yet? Patch 3.56 notes say that it's up, but I haven't found them
Short Haired Miqo'te next to Modern Aesthetics Saleswoman forget her description atm
I noticed no one mentioned this to the people who dislike PvP due to personal conditions. Shatter is very PvE oriented and you can really help your team. Optimally que as dps or tank. Healers have high expectations. You have PvP skills under actions just below the little icons it is marked pvp. You can use them at rank 1. Purify is important as it can remove all the debuffs on you. Some dps also get a self heal. You can buff them as you rank up but don't worry about that to much.
Most games someone will put a mark A at the end of tunnel from base. Stand at A you don't have to fight or kill. Someone will call ice. It glows blue move as a group to the ice. Use your best PvE rotation on the glowy blue thing till it breaks. Move away from the ice in the safest way back to A. Someone at the ice may kill you. It happens just respawn and move back to the ice or move to A when rest of the team is on its way. Completely scripted safety in numbers on a 24 man team and no one complains about people saving dps for ice. You miss out on some of the fun playing that way. But you can play it as a scripted pve encounter. Just don't que as a healer. If you try to heal explain ahead of time that you aren't comfortable with PvP healing and for people to be careful.
This won't help you get a Feast mount. That game mode is completely PvP with no PvE encounters. But you can still get the 10 win frontline and 60 win total mounts with out ever doing a feats game. On aether que is still pretty instant (less then 5 min) and 72 man games after roughly 4est (roughly). Earlier not so much. Remember to click freelancer and in progress to speed entry. I still see new people about once a day.
I'm scared to try pvp and I just wanted two of the hair accessories (the spider lilies and the butterfly) from the Garo lineup so I'm happy they added it there, but I don't see it being a reasonable way to get the full sets at all with prices that high.
Do not be scared of queing for frontlines or shatter specifically. Since shatter has alot of PvE to help teams win. I have never seen anyone kicked for being new. Just avoid healing it is the most noticeable job. Some dps get a little bent out of shape when they think they should get heals. You could que for 100 games walk to the A marker, sprint to the big ice, dps big ice, back to A, and repeat. No one would even remember you were there.
A kill is worth a few points. The big ice is 300 and small is 70. If you are half way good at your pve rotation you can score more points on ice then most people can in kills.
absolutely don't touch the MGP vendor cause it's way too expensive and not worth it as they are NOT dyeable. You're really and truly better of doing a daily frontline roulette, even if you hate pvp (just go healer and heal from veeeeeeery far behind)
Thanks for that, was driving me nuts ^^ I'm still planning to get all the sets through PvP though, might as well really.
And as someone who utterly despises PvP, it's really not that bad in this game. I usually just focus on breaking tomeliths rather than killing people, it's really just not my style to fight other players. Kinda goes against my nature, so I'm glad I can focus on giant frozen machines. Currently only missing the Tank and Healer achievements, and have the Astro and Scholar weapons already
I am a little biased as I'm a PVP enthusiast but I realize there are others who do not like PvP which is fine. I don't agree that dyeable garo sets should be obtained through other means as, PvP was dead waiting 10+ hours.
For me I raid PvP and craft, when PvP took the gigantic nose dive I only raided and crafted. PvP for me is a huge joy I even got my FC and buddies for Frontline and Seal Rock and it's the most fun I have in this game even more than raiding, it's such a thrill. I'm very thankful the devs held off on adding Garo to the MGP vendors, from the bottom of my heart I'm glad I can que with my friends or solo and not have to wait hours.
My only complaint is I wish SE would combine the data centers for PvP as for Primal in general, has lengthy que times in the morning. That way PvP would be going on during dead times so people can get in on the times that they can play.
Anyways that's just my thoughts on this is all, hope to see some of you from Primal in there if you're still quein
