Garo MGP Vendor?

I've seen other people with the same sentiment. If you don't mind my asking: why is it so different from any other part of the game for you? Is it just the fact that you know it's a person on the other end?

Can't speak for others but PVP is very difficult for me thanks to my poor reaction time. I can get by in PVE thanks to the heavy scripting of fights but even then the highest end stuff is beyond me.

I try my best to help my team when I PVP but I can tell I'm no good. I'll see a target being bursted down while I'm still trying to switch over to them.

Could be a subconscious thing I suppose. Niwashi might have a good point too. Normal gameplay sort of sinks into muscle memory a bit. One dungeon run starts to become the same over and over once you've done it enough. Tank pulls large groups, you damage them all/heal the tank, etc... Not sure what my hangup is either way and I don't want to hijack the thread. People like me are not a majority, so I don't mind SE designing content for the majority, rather than tailoring it to me.

I know people who enjoy PvE much more than PvP coz they prefer a scripted fight and excel against the complex design of mechanics.

I know people who enjoy PvP much more than PvE coz they prefer the variety of playing against a human and you have to think an react on the spot - no two fights are the same.

Each one to their own - people are free to do whatever they enjoy most

Well, I did the pvp thing to get the pieces I wanted. I imagine I wasn't too terrible, since I was usually in the top three of the scoreboard. I was floored to actually get a comm. I got healer and bard chest, healer gloves and boots.

Too bad I still need the orchestrion rolls...

Fortunately, I'm done with this nonsense for now, though.

I have a hard time in pvp, but I really enjoy it. I'm a gold rank in feast, took me a lot of practice to get to that point. I still find myself slipping in fights, but I'm getting better. Just keep trying if you find any interest in the mode you will get better in time.

They should add ALL PVP stuff in MPG shops as an optional choice! >_>

Whenever they add another set of new stuff and its in PVP Shops I ignore and hate PVP Even more <,<

I got 2,5m MPG since we have that Casino and theres nothing to spend <,<
We dont even get something NEW to spend -.-

Guess I better grind out my wins before people stop doing it.

I love pvp in other games, but FF14's pvp is hot garbage. If I at least get a win a day....

I may get frustrated at times in PVP, but I am fairly enjoying it while getting my wins for the mounts. Got Ginga and Goten. Will work on Raigo next. I'd say I've been doing pretty good in Feast despite being new to PVP. I hardly die (can't say the same for my parties; some are not good) and I do try to kill other players. I'll either stop PVP altogether after getting Raigo, try going for Flame Warsteed, or wait till another possible PVP oriented event.

However, I am glad for the people that don't like PVP to get the gear for MGP.

The GARO collaboration gear was implemented as PvP equipment, and as such we've made it so that it can first be obtained through PvP. However, in Patch 3.55 we will add the undyeable version of this gear, which will be obtainable in exchange for MGP. If you're interested in this gear ahead of time, we encourage you to try out the PvP content!

Will the gear bought with MGP be level 1, and will it allow you to unlock the titles?

Never was much of a fan of PvP in XI or XIV, the strategies were just too different from standard gameplay. But I have to say this event gave me a reason to try and I'm surprised to say I often find myself having a ton of fun! I think the costs are a bit too high per slot but oh well, it is an event with some longevity at least.

I thought about waiting for the gold saucer versions but after grinding mgp for fenrir...at least PvP is actually engaging mentally. Bursting down an unsuspecting healer as brd or using knockback to corner a poor poor dps is just so so enjoyable ^_^
