    Ready for the next Holy nerf? I swear, they're just going to take it out of the game in 4.0.

    As for the protect trait, I do feel that's the one thing that should be on all healers.
    Stoneskin though? That should be unique to us, and at least 15%.

    Eh, some details for that list:
    Thunder was removed for everyone but Black Mage. This didn't affect only White Mage, but also Scholars and Summoners as well. Astrologians would have been in this list of affected jobs too.
    Medica 2 total potency per cast remained the same. Just less potency every tick (from 100/tick for 15 seconds to 50/tick for 30 seconds)
    Holy was so crazy good back then that there were groups that would run 3 white mages and a single tank - Or even a summoner with Titan Egi - over a standard composition for Wanderer's Palace. The second nerf was applied to Flare as well and this is also applied to Gravity.
    Presence of Mind wasn't necessarily a "buff". Before the change it increased spell speed. Meaning it would have increased DoT damage as well. Now it simply reduces (re-)cast time instead.

    no, i didn't meant the 3.0 changes. they increased the duration from 10 to 15 seconds and reduced the cooldown by half, from 300 seconds down to 150 seconds, in patch 2.3.

    1) Reduce cooldown of Benediction to 3 minutes (5 minutes is just too long)
    2) Up the proc rate on Cure II/III (Just to help with sustain). Also, increase the radius on Cure III a little, maybe up to 8y.
    3) Up the magic return of Assize to 15% and reduce cooldown timer to 1 minute (more sustain help)
    4) Have Asylum increase skill/spell speed for everyone inside (AST and SCH bubbles reduce damage, with AST also having a Regen effect while SCH's bubble is twice the size of AST or WHM bubbles, so give WHM something different while also giving WHM more group utility)
    5) Make Aero I/II unmissable
    6) Make using Stone I/II/III have a chance at triggering a free Stoneskin cast (Because 99% of players still won't bother to apply SS outside of battle or during a prey mechanic.)

    Take what you will from this. It was written at 6am and I haven't gotten a wink of sleep so a lot of this might be way off base

    When I read people asking for the return of proshell for the White Mage, I really wonder if they truly have some experience on the game as a healer.
    You can't compare Scholar mitgation toolkit with protect. It's a buff that is ment to stay during the whole fight. This isn't mitigation as you want to hear it.
    Every healer need it as it is now.

    I'm a healer, I play the 3 of them and I wouldn't ask for selfish stupid request to a specific job for pure fantasy.
    Stoneskin 18%'s return could actually be a good idea.
    But less 10% on physical damages, yeah, we absolutely want Scholar and Astrologian to heal more for...nothing, just because "WHITE MAGE IDENTITYYY WAAAAH".

    No seriously, think about it before saying this kind of thing...
    I think too they should find something else for white mage, but don't request things like that when you don't even realise the effect it could have on a party for a lot of content.

    No more spell speed. Your melee dps will probaly end up to hate you with this.
    TP consumption and messing up their rotation.
    You'll will probably tell me that Astrologian can use arrow, and it's true he can. But that's also part of an astrologian to know what card to use on which job.
    Black mage would like this spell speed, but probably not a monk or a dragoon.

    uhm, but i was thinking ^^

    first, proshell increases the magic defense by 10%, not reducing physiscal damage by 10%. and SCH and AST have protect with the 10% increased physiscal defense without the proshell trait...

    we know raidbusters are never physical damage, always magic. and that's what the main purpose of proshell is: reducing the damage from raidbusters. SCH and AST have tools to reduce raidbuster damage, WHM has not.

    also giving every healer proshell makes the whole protect skill kind of useless. they can just remove the skill and increase the defense and m-defense on all gear by 10%...

    what about removing the proshell trait from SCH and AST, but make it only a 20 second buff for WHM? so he has to cast protect mid fight to get the benefit of the m-defense buff. i think that's a compromise we all could live with^^
