Personally I'd like to see whm get a move like disable from ast as right now there isn't alot of ways to reduce darkness damage, stones kin can be for whm only idc they do need something for mitigation unique to them then other things could have something that gives them a healing buff that after set amount of healing increases dmg dealt by 5% per stack max 5 stacks lasts for 25 secs upon each new stack till hit max stacks where it cannot refresh. So long as they improve whm mp issues could balance whm as a pure hlr with having the clear personal highest dps which for burst phases may make it useful again in the meta depending on fights
Reduce raid damage by something between 5-10%.
Remove protect as CC skill and reduce it's duration to 30s, making it work like Reprisal, Storms Path (but ofc including every damage, regardless of source).
Right now, Protect serves no other purpose than being a neccessety for every endgame content.
It's stupid, imagine a haste buff, 25% GCD reduction for 30 mins applyable by every healer or a +10% damage up, 30 mins, also applyable by every healer.
The only effect of such things are inflated numbers and bit bigger impact if someone dies. Wow.
Make Protect a mitigation tool again.
Huh, not a bad idea. It'd be desirable for progression raiding, at the least, to cleanse and heal unexpected mechanics. The only issue I can see is that Selene has the same on a shorter cool down, sans healing.
Another idea I had was to bump up the weapon damage of WHM staves over books and globes in Stormblood, giving them stronger heals and personal DPS at equal ilevels, then tune dungeons and raids to require more healing. On second thought though, it would probably end up with the same complaints AST had at launch.
