Mix of silly responses and not reading other responses - I mentioned the Himaa tribe thing a week ago and Cilia just reiterated it and you can bet someone will skip over both posts to posit a theory not supported (or even actively contradicted by) the lore.

One look at their anatomy tells you that the answer is no since they have belly buttons.
Even if its a game in a fantasy realm there would be no need for a navel if they came out of eggs.

Regardless of egglaying or livebirthing, a friend much more familiar with lizards has suggested that the au ra "males" and "females" might in fact be swapped, as lizard egglayers tend to be bigger than fertilizers. What we see as males might in fact be the party that supports gestation, and birthing or laying as appropriate. They certainly are the ones that have the hips for it.

Creatures can also grow inside the egg inside the host then birthed live which is called Ovoviviparity lol.
