Scholar has all he needs with his two fairies. A 3rd would be too much.

The mistake made Square Enix with Astrologian is to make a copycat (almost) of the White Mage.

Now, if you give White Mage buff pour the party => White Mage will win cause high healing burst + buff the party.
However, with the current skills they have, if the battle can be easily healed with an astrologian, well as well as take the healer who buff the party.

It hurts me to say this like this but cause I love astrologian as it is now, but the best way to make the 3 healer equal in term of utility without letting someone aside would be to rework astrologian so that he has his really own unique playstyle (exept cards).
Cause right now, I really don't see how they could change it =/

On an other topic, Assize is probably one of the best skill among healers cause you do what you want with it and it also give you mp back.
It depends on the battle, you might want to keep it for some heavy raid damages that needs to be healed quickly.
Makes me think about A6S on the last robot when he casts supercyclone. We get knocked back and at the same moment, the water debuff explose. It definitely need aoe heal or a good precast or people will die.
That's a good example where assize could be great (but Scholar could do it with Indom, that's what i was doing since i was with an astrologian who didn't have lightspeed at this moment).
