I would wait and see. After all the drop rate of such a weapon might be abysmally low.

Where they drop from will also be important. If you need to get a 600+ evaluation and participate in an emergency mission to have a chance of a random one drop in the deepest area then they might be far rarer than people think.

The i280 stats might be there to make certain that any one that drops, no matter the random secondaries stats, is a good weapon.
