"Spends 50 hours on weapon" , new content - takes 30 minutes to get more powerful item. That's not really new XD. Usually built behind an expansion true, but not always.

At least the Relic Weapons have entirely worth while glamours.

Perhaps they can change relics slightly - to make people love their relics more. They make the (fully) completed relics have like +% bonus based on the best weapon you've obtained for a given level range (level 50 relic, level 60 relic, etc etc). So you know your relic will be the best weapon, and if temporarily subverted it'll be best again once you obtain that new item that put it down. % shouldn't be too large, but at least numerically slightly better - just to make it still "the best" lol.

Maybe not "close enough" but I do think it's nice that SE would help boost players up quite a bit so they can enjoy all content more readily while they wait for the release.

no once forces u to farm a 280 weapon 24/7 until u freak out and get burned out , why not just do it like 2-3 per week and be happy with what u have? :P

You forget that SE basically just said here's free 265 gear and 280 weapons, with no way to have Gobdip unless you do hunts, no 275 unless you do relic and for some classes (Drgs/Drks/Brds/Plds) list goes on, it was BiS and the final step of this god awful, boring relic grind that we did. I didn't want the A12S sword, nor do I want it, why? It's Parry/Sks joy it's a useless stat stick just like the potential 280 upgraded weapon that they added with no regard for others who just finished their relic or have raided.

I don't plan on going hard on this as I did the old Diadem and saw just what broken ass pieces of gear you can get that were better than Gordias gear at the time, it's a slap in the face honestly, the weekly lockout remains and scrips are still at 450 and you think this is a great solution? It's like they didn't even bother to fix anything, just stuck FATEs in here with a progress bar with a WARNING INCOMING ENEMY BOSS where everyone has to scamper to which is no different then when we had old NMs on the islands.

I'm just gonna see what it's like the content isn't out yet so i'm not going to say it'll be the same as last time, it's very similar but I'm going to wait until I physically set foot in this new Diadem before I actually complain about how gear is handed out. But as it stands for people who depended on the relic, it blows. For raiders it blows. For people who don't have an FC airship it blows.

Actually by the sounds of the Achievements and Mission System you may need to complete 6 increasingly difficult missions within 60 minutes to get access to the i265 gear and i280 weapons.

What made the original Diadem so broken was how easy it ended up being to spawn the higher tier Notorious Monsters for gold chests by camping in one spot with higher tier monsters.

so they havent taken the weekly lock off of savage, they haven't even given out gobdips yet and they're releasing i280 weapons? somethings not making sense here. You also have to remember 3.55a and b was supposed to be one patch released at the same time and the only reason it got split was because diadem had a huge bug that needed fixing, so in turn they'd be screwing over everyone who did the anima...
