Regarding the Cherry Tree, Thank You

Thank you, SE, for finally putting the Eastern Cherry Tree on the Mog Station. I don't own a house myself and so cannot use it, but I'm glad to see it up there as it is one of my favorite yard furnishings and I love seeing them. Also, thank you for adding them at a reasonable price. $5 each is very fair.

While I agreed with your statement that having an option to purchase the cherry tree is a good thing, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic with the final sentence. Since you said you don't own a house, I can tell you that it's easy to come up with a good looking yard design that can utilized anything from one to five cherry trees easily, and maybe eight to ten on a large mansion. By no means it's necessary, but surely you can tell how quickly the bill can add up. Don't get me wrong, I can easily buy a bunch of them with the amount of money I usually spend on drinks, but I simply disagree that the pricing is fair.

I remember old threads discussing the tree how people said it'd probably be no less than $15 a tree, given other yard furnishings on the Mog Station and such. As others have said, buying the tree and selling it on the MB will make it available to others without having to spend money if they don't want to. Overall, $5 strikes me as fair.

I get what you're saying, personally I like seeing them mix-matched with other things rather than just a solid clump of trees. Like one tree, two max, a handfull of those smaller pink blossom bushes, a bridge, a pond, a series of stepping stones and a fire and some benches would be pretty. Wouldn't have to pay more than $5-10 for that, and if you got the two tree deal you basically get the pretty mat and umbrella for free. I would say it's a good deal considering, and it definitely should bring the mb prices on those trees down a bit.
