Regarding the Cherry Tree, Thank You

$5 seems pretty reasonable given the exclusiveness of these trees (past events, etc.). Plus, they used to go for exorbitant amounts of money on MP. While I agree that larger amounts of trees needed for a "good-looking yard" will add up, there are always alternatives to the trees in game i.e. the autumn trees.

The Mog Station trees are not tradeable or sellable on the MB. So, it's obviously people selling the old ones.

Just want to point out that there us a 10$ set that has 2 pf the trees and the mat. IMO these prices are very fair and I'm glad to have them.

I get what you're saying, personally I like seeing them mix-matched with other things rather than just a solid clump of trees. Like one tree, two max, a handfull of those smaller pink blossom bushes, a bridge, a pond, a series of stepping stones and a fire and some benches would be pretty. Wouldn't have to pay more than $5-10 for that, and if you got the two tree deal you basically get the pretty mat and umbrella for free. I would say it's a good deal considering, and it definitely should bring the mb prices on those trees down a bit.

It really depends on your design. If you place the tree as a center or corner piece then you will probably only need 1, but if you try to set it up along the edge or an alley design, it will add up quickly. Here's my previous outdoor bar yard design:





Feels a little self flattery to say this myself, but I think it looks pretty and chilly at night. Would cost you $25 (and probably another $10 for the two lamps) if you try to replicate it now by mogstation though.

I really just don't understand how anyone in this thread can say that $5 for a single decor can be okay. For $25, I could buy OVER 250 decor items in the WildStar cash shop - probably closer to 300 or 350, as decor packs are somewhere between $3-4.

Not to mention in wildstar you can earn that decor through ingame means as well, regardless of subscription status, and that not only do they bring back previous rewards for seasonal events, they make the previous year's shop item be available for the event currency, the complete opposite of XIV.

Yup, and that's a f2p game. Says a lot that a f2p game handles this better than a p2p one.

Given this, and the emotes on the store, I'm only expecting more and more things to go directly to the cash shop instead of being included in our mandatory subscription.
