But hey - THIS IS NOT REAL LIFE. And there is a certain degree of fairness that should be given.

Why should players who don't have a house take priority over the new zone? Because home owners have a house already? Yeah no. I don't buy it. That logic is extremely flawed.
It would almost be like not having a fantasia in this game, and when Au Ra came out - "oh sorry guys. You have to start again if you want to be an Au Ra. Au Ra is only for new characters".

If I didn't have a house, I would argue the same points. Because I think it is absolutely rediculous to lock current home owners out of the new zone, because they decided to put in the work early without any knowledge of future housing zones or their theme.

We aren't "telling people to settle for the old areas" lol.. You need to read.
Many people ACTUALLY WANT THE OLD AREAS. There is one person who even voiced that in the early pages of this thread.
No one is "forcing new buyers to settle with the old zones". New buyers can buy a house in the new zone.
We are saying that those who actually want a house in the old zones (which many will/do) rather than the new - will have that option.

Sounds to me you are of the impression that private estate owners are all evil and screw people over in the community.
Why should those who have 1 house, be penalized for the actions of those that abuse the system?
