How do you feel about Dancer not being added with this expansion?

If you're going to insist on arguing on this topic again like in other threads I'm done here with this thread.

To be fair, you claim the only thing you wanted was for people to express their possible dissapointment for DNC not being added, but you started the thread by talking about the trailer, and listing the points that were the basis of all the arguments people had in the past about it.

You brought the argument here by bringing up the very thing that sparked the arguments in the other threads. You can't expect people to not talk about it after doing that. If all you wanted was for people to express their disappointment, then that's all you should've done in your original post.

Couldnt care less either way if Dancer is in the game or not. Quite frankly the whole dancer vs monk thing for the girl's job was so rediculous to begin with.

I was treated with the same respect when I said in the Spiderman shirt thread that we are going to othard / doma for samurai. I got mocked saying "it burnt to the ground" in very condescending ways, oh but here we are...look at that ^^

Fact of the matter still stands. We do not know anything about her yet NPC wise. I'm not here to debate or argue with anyone, in the end the devs will decide what she is, etc and I will live with it. I've already said my piece and that's how I feel. This thread is about if we are disappointed about dancer, I won't be playing this game forever so whenever they put it in, if ever - I hope I am still playing by then!

Edit / forgot to add, in NA fanfest Yoshida mentioned if he drops classes he will do it in 5.0 and if he adds a new role (ie, support) he will also do it then. Maybe it is better we wait and DNC comes then as a true support role. I'd love that ^^ again just hope I am still playing hehe

And yes there was some hints of blu but remember what Yoshi said about that subject?
Besides i would tend to think Dancer is more popular then blu and yet was never mentioned.
I guess Dancer, 6.0 as 5.0 will probably be more dps again

While I was hoping for Dancer, I didn't really expect it. While the trailer COULD be interpreted as dancer vs monk (there's a mighty fine line between dance and kata, after all), I'm pretty sure that if Dancer does eventually get added to the game, it will be a healer - and there are too many mechanics already in the game that prevent healers from being front-line jobs (for example, the Nisi mechanic from Alexander 4).

If Dancer is added, it will stand at a distance as other healers do, though it might well be a physical ranged job (chakram throwing, perhaps?) to change things up from our current line up of magic-casting healers. Folks certainly shouldn't expect Dancer to be as it was in FFXI!

Did you say it in a very condescending way in the first place, using words like "obviously", "facts", or... "I will never change my mind about that" ? Did you forget to replace every instance of "she is" by "she might be" and "she is not" by "she might not be" ? Because it may have something to do with this more than the hypothesis itself.

In fact, a whole thread burned like hell only because the OP stated that "DNC was still only a conjecture"

It seems like DNC is more popular then blu...ive seen it mentioned a lot of other places, fb etc...but idk, makes me wonder what jobs will come next cuz after Sam nothing really has been hinted at...at all really.

No not at all, the post is still there, that I made.^^ I said something along the lines of "guys I had an idea, for samurai..wouldnt that fit more in doma and othard? I really don't see samurai happening without us going there, it would be a waste Imo" something like that, followed by snarky replies, but a few did reply politely.

And it wasn't about the npc, also my mind is set on that, if she can use a one handed blade and can be a monk, well I want a staff on my SMN or a one handed blade on my monk lol. I still think she is a jobless npc in the end. And again, whatever the devs decide is what it is, I am truly done discussing this issue for real.

Indeed, but because there was some mention of blu i guess perhaps it will also come before Dancer.
If next expansion is more dps again, i will flip the largest table i could find

Wasn't Doma burnt down to the ground? But the place the trailer showed, it wasn't Doma, was it? I think it was the city a bit to the east of Doma. Or did the story mentioned that the other places other than Doma were burnt down as well? I kinda forgot.
