Haha, wow, Soken really likes Overwatch.
Haha, wow, Soken really likes Overwatch.
Can someone update the OP so we know what's happening or what's being shown. Cause I'm so lost
Thanks
Right now the stream is interviewing Soken and Koji Fox and it's a fun little conversation filled with instruments, Overwatch, and musical influences.
Samurai DPS job confirmed for Stormblood.
New player cities: Doma, Kugane. Both have heavy Japanese influences. Kugane is very reminiscent of Yokohama.
New residential area to be added later: Shirogane, a far eastern plot.
New beast tribe... Kunoi, I think was the name? Agile turtle people, they place a high value on the idea of trade.
"Revolutions" is the name of the new Uematsu/Calloway track for Stormblood. Whereas Answers and Dragonsong were made with the idea of being told by Gods, Revolutions is from the point of view of humanity. The beat is reminiscent of a national anthem.
Several new dungeons were also shown. One in specific looked much like the Ship Graveyard from Final Fantasy V, and included a ghost ship being helmed by skeletons. Outside of Kugane lays the Ruby Coast, a bay filled with pirates. On Othard lies the Azim Steppe, a vast expansive Calm Lands-like area where Au Ra from various tribes congregate and trade.
I'm sure I'm missing lots of information, so feel free to add on.

And DOUBLED item limit for housing! I'm dying of happiness! T^TNew residential area to be added later: Shirogane, a far eastern plot.
(Also, anyone on Hyperion looking to buy a mansion in the new wards you better stay away from my first class plot in ward 1! I'll fite you!)
If only this was reflected in the party compositions. >_>
Personally I think 5/10/30 man teams would actually be more enjoyable. Hoping to see this when we get more info on the battle system updates.
Having played MMOs where the 5/10 man teams are a thing, I still feel XIVs 4/8 works better. Going higher than 4 in a party just means you need more DPS to fill a party.
Honestly, Support jobs need to be a thing. A 4th role would shake up party dynamics a good bit.
Quitting because dnc wasn't added?, such a child.Well SE already lost my money, completely depressed dancer will not be added to game, don't even care about the future that was my holdout. Doma and Ala Mihgo just don't sound fun, and Samurai/Redmage are not enough to hold me to this game, Samurai was not fun in ffxi I won't even give it a chance here. Sorry SE You have gone the way of Warlords of Draenor in my eyes, and now maybe it's time to take a few years break or just stop playing altogether.
This brings up a question I didn't find an answer to: why IS Ninja dexterity-based? It may have a few projectile attacks, but the job is not based on range, like Bard and Machinist. It seems more in line with Monk and Dragoon, with it being melee-based.Why two DPS?
Tanks - WAR, PLD, DRK
Healers - WHM, SCH, AST
Strength Based DPS - MNK, DRG, -SAM-
Dexterity Based DPS - BRD, NIN, MCH
Intelligence based DPS - BLM, SMN, -RDM-
Now we got 3 of each. Know that's not going to make most people happy, but I know at least a couple of people that'll be thrilled there's a proper sword slinger DPS, now. Two, actually, if you count RDM being a sword slinger.
its a standard gaming thing that all theif classes uses DEX.![]()
