One of the DPS is a caster, the other one is another asian-themed class.
No luck for me.
And yes, I am maining Ninja, but only because it's the closest thing to a rogue available.
I hate the aesthetics.

there is potd, that place literally does not need of healers or tanks(tho it needs smart dps).... and the queues are rather fast
No, it isn't. Ninja came out at a time when a fair number of players had capped all other classes leading to the majority of players leveling the same class at the same time. Samurai and Red Mage will be coming out when 13 other classes need to be leveled.

There were full on ninja fate parties back when NIN came out. Even with queue time being a little long, I still capped NIN in 3 days straight. And that was without other options like PoTD. On top of that you get Story XP if you go through it on RDM or SAM. It's really not that big of a deal with Main Tanks and Healers queueing up.

The main issue will be in regards to queuing for content outside Potd.

plus nin came at a time where alot of multi role players had everything at max level at that time. In this scenario you can level your main through story, get that exp lead then bother with the new jobs as tempting as they are....for career tank and healers, next expac may be a godsend, and who knows how the combat system will change how the roles play out... you gotta admit though a 4th tank or healer would have been really tough to make at this time...

The problem is not that. How many healers and tanks will stop being tanks and healer to become DPS? That's the real problem. The number of tanks and healers will drastically descent by adding 2 popular classes both as DPS. How will YOshi-P compensate this for tanks and healers? What they will give us?There were full on ninja fate parties back when NIN came out. Even with queue time being a little long, I still capped NIN in 3 days straight. From another thread:
The players have style options now with split parity across the board. This is a good thing. Honestly I was initially disappointed with no tank, but once I thought about it, I was glad that SE chose to try to clean up and bring identity to the Tanks and heals we have to try to make them more fun to play. PLD needs some attention, so I don't want SAM tank stealing that spotlight. Why two DPS?
Tanks - WAR, PLD, DRK
Healers - WHM, SCH, AST
Strength Based DPS - MNK, DRG, -SAM-
Dexterity Based DPS - BRD, NIN, MCH
Intelligence based DPS - BLM, SMN, -RDM-
Now we got 3 of each. Know that's not going to make most people happy, but I know at least a couple of people that'll be thrilled there's a proper sword slinger DPS, now. Two, actually, if you count RDM being a sword slinger.

Lol that was a sight to behold svara/cancer fates where 35 ninjas were out there and no one else...There were full on ninja fate parties back when NIN came out. Right. A lot of people will be taking their main jobs to the new cap, including Tanks and Healers.
Meaning, no one (except sprouts) leveling sub 60.
If SAM and RDM don't start at 60, and i see no reason why they would, Then trying to level them will massively over saturate the queues with damage dealers.
The reason i likened it to NIN is because its a similar circumstance, no one leveling/playing Tanks or Healers through the DF because they were all trying to level the new NINs. In this case, no one leveling or playing their tanks/healers because they all want to play SAM/RDM through the new MSQ. Hell, A friend of mine abandoned his BLM main in ARR for DRK main in HW and is planning to abandon the DRK in favor of the RDM. So that right there is 1 less tank in the queues.
And even if there are enough players doing tanks/healers as mains in the new MSQ, they sure as hell wont be doing sub 60 dungeons to level.
So trying to level the new Jobs in the first few weeks of Stormblood will be a nightmare of 2 hour long queues. Which pretty much means everyone will go for POTD. Leading to shortages of players in the regular DF, So daily roulettes are going to be awful too ...
And when those new RDMs and SAMs catch up to the MSQ, it'll blow the DPS queues for post 60 content to hell as well.
No matter which way you slice it, DPS queues are going to go to hell for a long time.
