Continued cheating / Win-Trading in Feast Solo Queue

It's full of enough to make an attempt to reach the top fruitless though. All it takes is four or eight people to win trade (there's suggestions that it's only four but they have dual accounts) to completely skew the ranking system. It happened with Triple Triad, it happened with Lords of Verminion & it's happening with Feast too. Don't forget that it's possible for a team of four players to have 160 characters per Datacentre if they wanted.

You do not have to wintrade at all to reach the top ranks. While wintrading IS a problem (and it's moreso a problem in light party queues rather than solo) it's not a big enough problem to prevent people from climbing to the top. Using Aether as an example, looking at the top 10, I can guarantee you none of those people in solo queue wintraded to get to those spots. There's ONE player who I will not name that did some shady shit, but it's not wintrading. So despite people wintrading, this is still a group of players that managed to make it to the top regardless.

Hmm, I always wonder why SE never asked the community to release videos of players purposely losing in that team...........yet I look at it as a flawed idea. I just look at it as a difficult thing to pull off cause it comes to the point in thinking of abuse in those who use it assuming that the person is losing, yet he/she isn't.

I've encountered some cheaters, reported them (with video!) and seen nothing happen.

I can't speak for other Data Centers, but on Primal you better start playing again, even with the shitty queue times you get as a tank, it's been fairly consistent at 10-20 min and we're getting all plat/diamond matches quite often. (At least like 9-12 pm EST) When it's slow you'll see a few gold or silver thrown in.

I hate even mentioning it, because I feel like I will jinx it, but i'm not seeing any of the cheating, hacking, disconnecting, tome farming players in weeks.

And no, I don't join the public Discord, and it's not needed to win consistently.

There are these two healers on Aether that queue at the same time. The one healer will cast protect and such but after that just run around and occasionally cast 1 or 2 heals before not doing anything again. Sad thing is, they're in my server and I've already written 2 reports to them about this. Idk how long the "process" takes, but it's kind of dumb when it's this obvious.

No you haven't, you're lying, nobody has given up on PVP because cheating isn't a problem... Maybe if we repeat their rhetoric enough we'll believe it too.

Nb: The above was satire. It's mocking the fact that whenever anyone says that cheating in PVP put them off a White Knight tells them it's not true, because they know their minds better than the player.

No clue, but those win traders are always set on busy and will move areas if you confront em.

I gave up on the feast in the first season. Got to top 7, Started encountering speed hackers, reported, and nothing happened to them. Got banned off the forums for mentioning them (without using any names). Made me rage quit. :P

Win-trading in pvp is like schrodinger's cat; if you cant see it, it doesnt exist.

You don't know for sure if 2 players are queuing together or if the matches are a coincidence
You don't know for sure if someone is throwing matches, or if they're just bad
You don't know for sure that a majority of someones rating came from matches involving the same person or people.

If you can't prove it, it doesnt happen. /s

NB, If a system can be exploited, it almost certainly is being. That's human nature when it comes to competition.
