My theory is based on sales. Recently, with Steam sales, I've seen tons of newbie AuRa. This sudden backlash (in the west anyway, dunno about JP and other eastern countries) I'm going to guess is a result of the Christmas/New Years sales. All those new people have made mentor status now. Also, this game is T for Teen. When going into the Novice Network, some could be expecting level headed adults, but you could very well be getting emotionally strung teenagers and fresh out of high school college students who think they know the world better than anyone because they're in college now.
