Mentor Players Kicking newer players from Duty Ques for low DPS

So what I am gathering from people in this thread that it is okay to kick players in a Duty Party Que because they have not met "the" parties requirement as what a DPS should be and shame on that individual for queing for a dungeon that unlocked for him at a certain lvl? Even tho that the previous 100+ dungeons ran with no wipe or problems. Not everyone who plays this game can put 6-10 hours a day into it to get everything they need. Sometimes they enjoy FF and want to enjoy story content with the limited amount of time they have. There should be no reason if a dungeon or trial is unlocked for you that you should be voted out for lacking abilities. If I was queing for (Hard) or (Extreme) or Raids then maybe. Im playing story content!

well....yes, If I were a healer who totally sucked at healing people in the Vault, using min ilevel gear and we kept wiping then yes I expect to get kicked. If I were a tank that never used CDs, cannot keep hate and died constantly from standing in AoEs, yes I expect to get kicked. Just because you play DPS doesn't give you a free pass on content. There are folk out there who are not very patient, and rather intolerant of newer players. This is life I'm afraid.

Even the JP, who traditionally are extremely patient with newcomers, are not saints. I myself was votekicked for low DPS + crap mechanics that kept wiping the party in Titan Ex in my nub days. What did I do about it? I set out to master DRG so I can at least play to an acceptable degree.

No, we are not saying that. What we're saying is if you don't have your cross classes which in most classes is mandatory especaially by the time you're level 60, then you cannot be surprised you were kicked.

Here you are coming to the forums complaining about it and we're telling you exactly why it's a sizeable (not great) deal and why it's important to have these abilities which don't take a long time to get and instead of being humble and taking our advice, you're here getting all defensive about it. Sure the mentor could of been a damn mentor and tell you this instead of kicking you but the point still stands.
