That's opinion, not a fact. The meaning of "near 100% completion" is the game going through "launching standards", which is the goal that Yoshi-P had in mind since he took over the dev team...no MMO is 100% complete, WoW isn't 100% complete, certainly not the other MMOs that has be out before and after WoW.

Like I said its open to interpretation, but as Alerith says, if you want for your interpretation to be authentic you need proof, so far you haven't given any.

You want the legit reason they made the decision to start charging us? When they started the free period they said the game would remain free until such a time as they had a detailed, workable roadmap for the future of the game. Well, guess what the 2.0 announcement was. They are just doing EXACTLY what they said they would do A YEAR AGO.

It IS a legitimate reason. 1.20 brings the game to the level it should have been when they were going to charge us subscriptions a year ago. You need to stop looking at it as 2.0 = the 100% mark.

This is a whole prologue before that, and that prologue is nearing 100% in the next major update. The same update that makes it at a reasonable level to start charging.

Because the next patch is introducing most of the systems and addressing most of the flaws that accounts for 30%-40% of the issues holding it back at 50%. The other 10%-20% being content.
