You're still not understanding any of my posts...ok this is the last attempt after that you decide what you believe...He....didn't...say...that...
First you have to understand the goal that the dev team currently has throughout the one year free period...they wanted a game that could launch with functional features. 1.20 has functional features, you have the PC search, the Market Wards, all the class adjustments etc, this is an outline of what its going to have and to the dev team its in launching condition, again near 100% of what it should've been FROM THE START, not when 2.0 comes out.
He said that it'll feel like Final Fantasy, but also that 2.0 will have the same feeling FFXI had. Be lucky that 2.0 is not an expansion pack...its a major patch with massive changes, and its treated as such, its not treated as a "remake' or a "new game" or a "restart" or whatever it is that you think it is.
wanted to add, that it will be marketed as a relaunch, because that is the only way they will get players from the outside world to actually play this game.
They will need to make people believe that the new 2.0 and PS3 FFXIV is nothing like the game they had at launch. Everyone in the PC Online RPG world outside of you guys thinks FFXIV is a joke
Where are you getting this "unplayable" nonsense from? The game is fully functional despite a few missing systems (Which are being addressed in the next update).
The game is not only playable, but enjoyable.
Also, nowhere did any of us say 1.20 is THE 100% mark. We said 1.20 is bringing it CLOSE to that. It brings it to the launch level. And from there, just like any other MMO, subsequent updates will address the remainder of the issues.
Nobody said 1.20 makes the game perfect. We have only said it brings it close enough to be considered launch ready, at which point it becomes reasonable to start the subscriptions.
