What will they summon?

It is safe(I think) to say that Ifrit,Ramuh,Shiva,Odin,Leviathan,and Garuda(And a giant Moogle?) won't be accessible to the summoner class/job according to the interviews.

So..do they get some of the lesser summons? spirits?
Must know. Although, I would prefer info on the beastmaster-esque job more, I'll take any pet info I can get O_O

It wast stated even before SMN was announced that players would be able to summon the primals. (Ifrit, Shiva, Leviathan, Mog, ect.)

Yes..
It was also mentioned that these would be special, group summons, most likely in the form of free companies.

I'm talking more along the lines of the pets the Summoner class is going to have.
