    I'm allready willing to stay subbed at full price, but it's not a bad idea to do 1/2 price or even a slight reduction of subscription fee until 2.0

    They would have to tread carefully though I can see a big backlash when they try and go back to "Full price" at 2.0 launch, if they decided to go 1/2 price until then, just a gut feeling though.

    They're already experiencing a backlash right now in announcing their plans to go from "no price" to "full price". At least by charging half price until the release of 2.0, they are charging a price that accurately reflects the state of the game so that players don't feel ripped off.

    If people are still feeling ripped off after getting to play for free for a year and cannot appreciate all the work and content the devs have put into this game since release there is absolutely no pleasing them and they will never accept a fee if they can get away with it.

    Sometimes it's easier to rip the bandaid off rather than slowly peel it off.

    Again I'm open for either though, but I can see the logic behind it. They should do some research themselves and see if they would make more income from a lower price with higher retention or higher price lower retention. I imagine the outcomes would be fairly similar IMHO.

    Yeah, it will be the same outcome as it is right now, " KEEP IT FREE" Mentality because its been free for a year, it has become second Nature at this point. :/
