How? Hempen sets are dirt cheap and common.

Caring about exclusivity means that the primary concern is not how you look to yourself, but how you look to others.
Hempen sets being as common as they are, exclusive means nothing as anyone can get them for less gill than it would take to teleport to a marketboard.

If you want to argue exclusivity, argue for racial relic glamours, an upgrade to the starter racial gear that would be both exclusive and uncommon for example. Maybe then you would have a leg to stand on. Otherwise the argument that it hurts you makes no sense.

Not exclusive as in you cannot attain it, but exclusive looks to each race. We have so few racially locked gear, I count this as one of them. This is something I'd like to see stay.

In favor of a big addition to individual uniqueness. I don't know about you, but the Miqo'te top isn't special. Yes only Miqo'tes can wear it but every Miqo'te around looks the same for the sake of racial uniqueness? Like a job/school uniform, the users tend to dislike them and want to wear other things because they all look the same or don't like their outfit(Gold Saucer)

I'm sure most people wearing the clothes aren't thinking of uniqueness but instead are thinking "I like this shirt."

If you want uniqueness, why not sport your unique glamour 24/7?

Racial Uniqueness does nothing but stop people from being individually unique with their styles.
