that is what i got confused with too. but at the end, Yoshi P did said that they could make copies of these designs and make them into glam. so finger cross they do this.

The reason the question got messed up is cause there been other threads asking to wear other races underwear that out numbered this thread.

But those threads are about the hempen sets, which should be obvious since the white base underwear is the same for everyone, so why would we want to use other race's versions when they're exactly the same?
Maybe Yoshida was trolling. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time.
I made a topic to bring awareness to the Q&A translation error here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ng-Hempen-sets.
Going to take a lot for them to look at the forums again
Hello again, Eorzeans.
We appreciate your continued feedback on the subject of unlocking the variances in appearance of the Hempen set across all races.
It looks like an overwhelming majority of you are very interested in this! As such, we have forwarded this feedback to the development team. In response, they would like to let you know that they are considering this for a future update!![]()

Huge thanks for this. I know that my characters, as well as those of my wife and son will rejoice at this.Hello again, Eorzeans.

Ugh. Can we have some other race specific sets instead, then?
An overwhelming majority of PvPers hate the chat restriction and want it gone, but all we get is ignored for months and unwanted/not entirely helpful "adjustments"? Seriously, double standard much?Hello again, Eorzeans.

I'm not gonna derail the thread. This is good news anyways, but can we please have Yoshida's statement on that as he previously said he would? We're a bit overdue for a serious answer, and I'd like to think a poorly received change to an essential gameplay element perhaps ranks higher than glamour unlocking.
That aside, Au Ra/Elezen top on Miqo'te (Yes, please.)

We're just not important enough my dude. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯An overwhelming majority of PvPers hate the chat restriction and want it gone, but all we get is ignored for months and unwanted/not entirely helpful "adjustments"? Seriously, double standard much?

but yes I would like au ra or highlander top on my miqote so
Well here it's "just" about glamour, no big deal and not a huge impact on other players.
Maybe they are affraid of how the pvp tchat would be used ? had some harassment issues on other games because of that (but I did not really take a look at that pvp tchat issue so might be wrong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Very glad about that !
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
