I'm incredibly exhausted right now, so this won't be quite the post that I have in my mind. However, I feel it's pertinent to get this message out there. Do not let the voices of other others opinions corrupt your expectations for the coming expansion. Expect a fun interesting new main story quest and additional classes with a new combat system that may turn out to be better than the current one.

You will enjoy the expansion so much more if you don't read about it constantly or try and debate and uncover things. The people who tend to try and uncover every stone before they're laid also tend to be the ones least content with the additions to the game. I used to do this for other games namely WoW and I was incredibly disappointed with MoP & WoD. Going into Legion blind was the best decision I ever made.

Just enjoy the game, and don't spend too much time on deliberating future content or you just wind up setting yourself up for disappointment by having expectations too high.

For what it's worth, OP, your post wouldn't bother me if it were presented more in the form of friendly advice. But your original tone smacks way too much of telling people to shut up because they're discussing potentially unpleasant things that you don't feel like reading about.

What is there to misinterpret about language like "do not", and "you will" and "just [do this]"? Coupled with an extremely polarizing thread title calling folks with legitimate grievances a hive mind/mob? I don't think I misunderstood anything - this is a veiled "complaining about complainers" post, and I call them like I see them.

This isn't new. gamers put their expectations way too high, and as a result, games don't live up to their expectations. I'm so happy you figured this out. You'll be so much happier for realizing it. Unfortunately, people don't like change, and will refuse to stop basking in stubbornness. All you can do is let time do it's magic, and wait for them. Eventually they'll come to similar conclusions.

I trash talk this game's faults at least once a week, doesn't mean I don't still love it and play it everyday. The expansion will have somethings I like and some things I don't, that's just life. I'm still super hyped and will remain so!
