I like to think of it this way, due to them not having to spend so many more man hours on new designs for races/classes they are able to put that time into developing actual content. Jobs are always a nice extra but there is currently enough jobs. it's hard enough trying to get them all leveled! as for races they don't really add anything to the game itself. look at Au Ra. you don't really see anyone using them anymore. when heavensward released loads of people changed to it but now have changed back.

There is never enough jobs. We could say that 1 healer, 1 tank and 1 dps job was enough, but having more adds variety. Also, jobs are the MAIN POINT of interest for new players to join.

I think OP is actually just concerned for people who just so happen to be easily affected by negativity in general no matter what form and this message is most likely aimed towards them. There are so many ways to express ones concerns and it's not always clear to everyone. Just try to read between the lines, set yourself in OP's mood and don't get stuck on technicalities or projections. I honestly just think he means well.

what's next, only 1 expert dungeon? I'm kidding, but it doesn't look too promising.

Supposedly the budget for Stormblood is much higher compared to HW so hopefully we'll get quality content instead of quantity. I'm not implying content in HW is bad but it's a bit "samey".

Edit: PotD is one of the better addititions to the game due to randomly generated floors. Now if they could expand on that with bigger floors and variations they could keep many players happy between patches. Quality content keeps players happy months after a patch so that's definitely needed. Now if we could have catch the flag for pvp i'd be a happy Roe.

Triple budget won't mean anything if they blow it on cinematics. And they will. Because that's SE's MO. Unless changes are mindblowing huge I doubt the triple budget will help much. But I highly doubt it.

Is there a budget increase or not? All i've seen thrown around is "yes, no, maybe", so which is it? Triple budget sounds unrealistic even from a player point of view.

If there's more money involved in Stormblood it does set some expectations for future content.
