I'm positively thrilled they've fixed 2 of the biggest problems with triple triad. Now if they could just fix the card drop rate from old dungeons (I have run Snowcloak 10 times still no Fenrir card) I will be a happy potater.

I got lucky and got my Nidhogg card on my clear of his normal mode trial, but the overall drop rates seem to be unnecessarily low. I've seen the unicolt drop more often in the Vault than the Charibert card, which I also don't have, even though I do that dungeon at least 4 times a week.
They could put some of the old boss cards on the battlehall npcs too, that'd give more reason to go there on top of the tournaments.
Odds are with 4.0 this Summer all 3.0 cards will be made available for win off of NPC's, as all 2.0 cards were done when 3.0 dropped. So there will be a path to get those pesky cards that RNG failed to deliver.I got lucky and got my Nidhogg card on my clear of his normal mode trial, but the overall drop rates seem to be unnecessarily low. But all the TT changes seem to be for the good. The death of Random for NCP's will probably be the biggest change and cause for many to rejoice. Though it never bothered me all that much.
Some of the boss cards from 2.0 are still dungeon drop only. From this list Fenrir, Kraken, Ferdiad, Manxone, and Vicegereant are still solely available from their respective 2.0 dungeons and I've never had any of those drop despite playing the game regularly for a year.
These are indeed in 2.0 dungeons, but all of them were added in the 3.x cycles and some of them have truly crummy drop rates. Fenrir in specific took a lot of runs to show his face for me. I would guess that all of these will get shifted to NCP's with 4.0 also. Some of the boss cards from 2.0 are still dungeon drop only. We'll see if it all happens in June. I was surprised when they did it for the 2.0 cards, so perhaps that was a one off. But with the older content getting quieter with the expansion, it seemed a reasonable design call to make the cards available via the second NPC path.
