The reason I ask about this is because we are here at the last "big" content patch before the next expansion.

We've been here before in 2.0 and it seemed pretty difficult back then. I bring it up cause I wondered what you guys think since we are here a second time. I don't mean to be like the american tv news (i'm american) and say "OMG It's the end of the world as we know it and I don't feel fine!". But like what I see most often is tempers are a bit frayed in content, people are bored and the people who might be new, unfamiliar or just weren't brave enough to try content till it was nerfed/echo...they all would rather just not admit they are new at this point. They want to check off that content on their bucket list so they aren't really looking to learn it super well either.

I mean I get why, I mean, they kind of feel embarrassed that they are "just now" attempting something that most people are probably already bored with and they are afraid they won't help them or would boot them for even asking for help. On top of that, even the players who DO know the content aren't trying as hard cause they are bored so they cause wipes too and ALSO aren't willing to admit it cause they should know better by now. Or maybe a experienced person farms a particular content with a static all the time and maybe they understand their role really well in that static/fc/linkshell but put them with a bunch of strangers and suddenly they realize they didn't really know how all the mechanics worked and maybe someone else before pushed a button, did a mechanic or silenced something and they didn't even know they could have done it...now it's their responsibility in a pug and they have no idea what to do and they don't want to admit that they don't know either as they'd also be embarassed.

So like, in my personal experience there is a thing:
Here I'll coin a meme for it (people like dank memes right? I like memes :x )... "Camouflage Blame"

How it works is: Someone who does anything now, it's always not their fault.

In fact, the person that JUST wiped the party themselves will generally ask a question like: "So what part of this fight are you confused about" just to try and throw off the scent. I mean I understand why this happens... Is there anything as a community we can do about it? I never liked the blame game. I mean I have issues with it... I try to ignore people doing it but that often just leads to them targeting me cause I'm not responding so I must be the guilty party right?

Do you ever feel like you are being blamed for things you weren't before? I feel like I'm gonna have to be a lawyer to even do anything that isn't brand new.

It just gets old. I mean I am self aware enough to know that sometimes it will be my fault. I AM willing to call myself out though... In fact I do it too much... anyone that knows me on my server probably could attest that I'm the queen of accepting blame. But because of that, people blaming me for additional things sort of just makes me wonder if I can't beat them join them? lol Just kidding but I was wondering what people thought about how the community is doing at this point in the game cycle.
