Is that where FFXIV is at now? I wonder if that's active subscriptions or just created accounts. Big difference there. Still, if FFXIV -does- have 6 million active accounts world wide, that would be impressive. They'd be the first game to manage that since World of Warcraft, no?

Accounts made, datamining the Lodestone shows it's about 500k~ active.

Worldwide. Most games bloat their numbers like this hence why they release shipped copies instead of sales figures. WoW used to boast about their 10+ million accounts, but stopped after the mass exodus of people.

Hrmn... I always thought WoW had -had- 10+ million active accounts is the thing. Either way, 500K seems to be a healthy number considering FFXIV is going strong still.

He looks fallen over, with a sword thrown to the side. And it took me a minute to notice (wondering why the circle was so big), but there's also a guy in black at the bottom. I think. Still not sure what to take from it.
