    The head English localizer flat out states that they have a hand in creating many of the game's terms and the lore. (Also in video format!) They help localize the English names and terms back into Japanese. Localization is far more than just translation.

    Koji Fox is not co creator I think your going way overboard. I know exactly who Koji Fox is and his role in SE and the liberties that the English Localization teams have taken with the Japanese translation is also way overboard. There is still a main writer who is responsible for the lore and world of FFXIV and his work is being translated in what I think is inaccurate.

    While I would like to see FFXIV going AAA as much as it can I know it's not going to happen. There are things I want to see in this game like more voiced over cutscenes, higher resolution textures, more AA methods (we only have FXAA which may be lightweight but it's the worst AA method for image quality it just blurs the hell out of everything), less teleporting zones and bigger areas/cities, an overhauled character creation screen with way more options for our chaarcters (3-4 faces in a million players mmorpg? really?) and more. I would like to see more effort being put in this game. Till now they just play it safe with modest upgrades. Dunno if 4.0 will raise the bar or just cringe underneath it.

    Well I guess it Could. But for now we have no serious indication or hint that they are working to improve anything like that. I mean working on things beside the obvious and usual things like a couple of new hairstyles, new jobs, new dungeons, areas and story.
