@ NIC Pay SE just tried to creat something new and unique. They created the crystals to allow their ideas to be implemented in game. I just see this as a benefit for the player. I don't think it actually has anything to do with the plot.

I played swtor as well and there are something that doesn't make sense. How is it that a Jedi is forbidden to have a lover when we see almost all Jedi actually has one. I am not talking about the people who learned about the force after they got married. I am talking about the young ones. Even our characters have secret lovers. By the Jedi rules, we should have been expelled, yet we are still part of the Jedis. The corruption is already present, and a Jedi can feel it. Why do we have so many of them just ignoring it. It is for the benefits of the plot in movies and players in this case swtor.

There are many and many more contradictions. Another example is when you want to play as a dark Jedi. A lot of NPCs know you are falling, yet nobody stops us. The companion who invested in the game just decided is was a good idea.
