I don't understand why everyone is getting their underwear in a knot over people posting their own characters. The thread was created because we had a thread about ugly characters.

This is the main counter argument here. Yes is was made in opposition of the ugly character thread, but we have at least... 7 other threads you can show off your own character in (race threads and screenshots thread), 8 if you include the vanity topic. So why not allow this one to be different instead of another glorified Show your <insert race> thread?
