also, a HUGE dactio to remember, most people enjoying and playing DO NOT go into the forums, a majority of people who are in the forums are trolls and people who wanna just spout off every little problem they have, or people who are very involved with the game and discussions

How many people (like me) havent bothered to cancel their accounts even though they dont log in much/ever since its been free for a while. Wonder if SE "thinks" they have more potential paying customers than they really do.

I'm sure they would rather have the paying customers they can get than no paying customers at all.

The fact you need activity to even post on these forums they can easily determine who does and doesn't play -- Their Vanadiel Census also proves they actually can tell the difference between "active" and "inactive" players. A lot of people didn't cancel SE accounts because they also play FFXI.

they have ways of tracking user usage im sure, and they probly dont even count you at all
