It's not these guys would pay for a terd if it had the Final Fantasy name on it.

So funny how all the trolls are coming out of the woodwork for one last hurrah. Gifthorse must have spawned. Oh look its another person who's been registered since March but hasn't contributed one bit to bettering this game. But I bet he also thinks he's "helping" SE by playing their game for free. Oh nvm, only level 13. What would he know?

That would have been the first 4 and a half months. After that time we've had a completely free ride for nearly 8 months.

ya because the game sucked. I still play because i have faith, but in the almost 7 years I played 11, never once did i question paying for the game; Sadly, i find myself wondering if this is worth it. I can afford it like most people but its a sad state of affairs when I question the franchise I've grown up with all my life as to whether I've been fooled into accepting a sub par game, just because SE says i should and now pay for their mistakes until 2.0.

Now their making me pay to stand around in Uldah until next year, bravo....

Hey, everyone? THIS IS NOT BETA. If it were beta, your info would be wiped and everything you've worked for would be gone. Your achievements are permanent with regards to how the game will progress. So please, please please stop calling this beta.

Not all BETA's do that. A lot of games these days go straight into release from beta and do not whipe.

And to some it feels like beta, like to me it does. Its very, very incomplete, we're still fixing a lot of core issues and still trying to properly balance the most basic areas (EXP).

Not to mention they kind of said it themselves.

as as I know in mmorpg, only F2p do that, havent see a P2p yet, and I consider FFXIV a P2p

i can agree with this. i would pay half price as good faith because they have made efforts to make the game more playable, but in its current state i wouldn't pay the full monthly fee because it is not a finished game.

No MMO is a finished a game.

Well, something that I have noticed reading the majority of posts from players saying they do not agree to pay to play because they feel the game is not ready and they would rather support SE with their feedback is: most of them have between 30 ~ 50 posts.

Most have been registered since march, where the hell have you been if its not providing feedback to better the game? But wait... now SE wants to charge and their free ride its almost over. You have only been playing to your hearts content without even supporting SE how you claim you want to. Hypocrisy is the only thing that comes to my mind.

No to the contrary, I play because it's a nice way to spend some of my free time away from the grind of RL, the point is simple either you pay or you don't.

The problems many people face is that this game has become people's second job, that's when the fun ends and people spend countless hours posting on forums to justify the entitlement they feel because it has become their second job.

For me, i couldn't resist pissing some people off by letting you know how much i don't care whether you agree or not if i pay, i pay, for some of you this is the most attention you get the rest of the week from the world that cares little for your feelings, wants or needs.
