People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Blue mage won't be added stop thinking it. On the remembering 2015 Yoshida only talked about Red Mage and Samurai.
Storage cost a lot and worth at least more than a job and a race. Also, Jobs are not only about cost, but about time to make. They said they won't do 2 jobs at the same time anymore because it's too complicated doing 3 jobs for an expansion, with all they have to do aside. Having 3 times the budget, doesn't mean they can work 3 times more, it means they can pay for more people or more expensive technology for higher quality. Having more people will help doing more thing, but not multiplying the things. Especially since they can't say like "We're hiring all those people thanks to the budget", then if the budget decline later "We fire them all".
People here think only about the near future. When you're managing a game, you're thinking 1-2 years or more in the future, with all the spent and schedules.

It does have a much much larger budget.

35m + is a lot.
That was an error from the english team. This dialogue was wrong and invented by the english team. The japanese one didn't have it, neither the Deutsch and French who directly translated from japanese. It is already known that the english translators are having some liberties on their translation, and they probably joke on the blue because they didn't took Yoshida's dialogue seriously when reading it.

I searched through several of those documents for that 35m number but none of the ones I checked seemed to have it, would you mind saying which document is the source for this claim or are you just reposting a link and a claim without verifying it?
Gemcraft? wouldnt it be Rune Fencer mixed with Geomancer or BLU? be a hybrid class like AST?SE seems to have learned a good bit from FFXI and the mistakes and successes it had. I doubt they'll implement BLU in a manner in which it wouldn't be able to function competitively with other classes/jobs in terms of gameplay. Its just a matter of finding its role out of the three possible, and which expansion to include it in.
As an additional thought, perhaps it would be linked to the Ananta? Their little lore snippet made it clear they're quite gifted when it comes to magic and gemcraft. Maybe Blue Mages learned from the Ananta.
