Honestly I would prefer somewhere original that ties to the lore, BUT it would be pretty cool to check up on ivalice. It's been awhile.

They already said no new races in 4.0. So don't hold your breath. FFXIV Ivalice is different than XII's Ivalice.

I hope the new 24-man continues the same difficulty trend as Weeping City, especially if it's going to keep awarding the upgrade items to what is basically raid-tier gear. On a personal level, I also enjoyed helping new or struggling groups through the content, showcasing that hey, it doesn't need to be nerfed - just focus up and everyone can get it done. I had some really nice teaching experiences and healer muscle flexing in that raid, especially given the previous snoozefests that were 24-mans.

Raid originally (in EQ) referred to the group size needed to do the content not the difficulty. 24-man raids are actually closer to what the term originally referred to that the 8-man raids.

Like you're never supposed to blab about escapades in Las Vegas, I would say the same for players that take part in eRP. Don't show, and don't tell, unless the person says it's okay.

Agreed that 14 should be standalone, but a raid called "Return to Ivalice" is waay too tied up with the Ascians to be standalone from the 14 msq.

Because a Raid isn't based on it's difficulty, yes there supposed to be hard content for it being end game and all but Thordan Ex is one of the hard trials and it isn't considered a Raid.

A Raid is more like a large number of people in a very big dungeon clearing multi boss's for high end loot etc where it be easy or hard.

But saying that though, to me 24 Raids aint that hard but there not too easy either as you want people to clear all of it. I think WCOM got the difficulty spot on.

Actually I really am in it just for the Viera. I would also like it if you didn't speak of my search info without my permission. I feel like it's an invasion of my privacy. Not only that but if just says m/m. It's not like I said my butts blazing and ready to go. I tried to be low key about it. :/

It's not really an "invasion" of your privacy if it's publicly available search info, which he certainly does not need your permission to comment on... besides, it's not even like he's critical of your preferences.
